Autumn meeting for the local MICE industry

This year’s autumn meeting for the local MICE industry, organized by the Convention Bureau – Wrocław, was held at one of the newest hotels in our region – Q Hotel Plus Wrocław Bielany on September 27.

After welcoming the guests and the official start, the president of the Convention Bureau – Wrocław and Wrocław Tourism Organisation Agnieszka Szymerowska gave a presentation about WROt, which was to introduce the participants to the activities the association has undertaken during its several months of existence and what are the plans for the future. Then Dagmara Lukaszewska, representative of the Convention Bureau – Wroclaw, told the attendees about the calendar of events, both for the last quarter of 2022 and the beginning of 2023.

After a coffee break and a second breakfast, prepared by our host hotel, the next item on the agenda was a discussion on green events – is it a trend or a necessity. The discussion was moderated by Agnieszka Szymerowska, and attended by Centennial Hall CEO Jakub Grudniewski and CEE Hydropolis Director Wiola Samborska, who addressed the topic from the perspective of key Wrocław venues. Participants of the event representing hotels, among others, were also invited to join the discussion.

The final item on the agenda was a visit to the host venue, which was able to showcase its MICE capabilities in practice.
