On January 31st of this year, the Mayor of Wrocław, Jacek Sutryk, initiated a meeting at the town hall, during which he personally honored and distinguished outstanding representatives of the tourism industry who play a significant role in the development and promotion of tourism in Wrocław. Despite challenges such as the pandemic, Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, and inflation, the tourism sector is rapidly returning to the city.
During the ceremony, Mayor Jacek Sutryk expressed gratitude to individuals and institutions that have significantly contributed to the revival of tourism in the city. Among those honored was Wiktoria Król-Cieciorowska, a member of the Tourism Council and the President of the Convention Bureau Wrocław.
The Mayor emphasized that despite the return of tourism to pre-pandemic levels, there are areas that require further development. Jacek Sutryk expressed his intention to collaborate with representatives of the tourism industry to collectively shape Wrocław’s openness to tourists.
Special thanks were extended to Wiktoria Król-Cieciorowska for her involvement as a member of the Tourism Council and her role as the President of the Convention Bureau Wrocław. Simultaneously, the Convention Bureau Wrocław, a member of the Wrocław Tourist Organization, received recognition for its contribution to the development of tourism in the city.
This meeting marked a crucial moment for the entire tourism industry, and the appreciation from the Mayor of Wrocław signifies recognition for those who support the development and promotion of the city.
