During this year’s congress of the Polish Congress Ambassadors Program (AKP), 22 new honorary Ambassadors of Polish Congresses for the years 2022 and 2023 were announced. This prestigious distinction is awarded to individuals who significantly contribute to promoting Poland as an attractive destination for organizing international congresses. One of the laureates of this prestigious title is Dr. Paweł Gajdzis from the University Clinical Hospital and the Piast Śląskich University of Medical Sciences in Wrocław.
Polish Congress Ambassadors play a vital role in the development of the congress sector in Poland, attracting prominent events and international conferences. They are individuals with extensive networks and a strong commitment to promoting the country as an attractive location for business and scientific meetings.
Dr. Paweł Gajdzis, who works at both the University Clinical Hospital and the Piast Śląskich University of Medical Sciences in Wrocław, was honored with the title of Ambassador of Polish Congresses in Wrocław. His contribution to the development of the medical and scientific sector and the attraction of prestigious congresses to this region was recognized by the AKP Chapter. The selection of Dr. Gajdzis as an Ambassador of Polish Congresses is not only an honor for him but also for the city of Wrocław, which is becoming an increasingly popular destination for international conference events.
The next AKP Gala, where Ambassadors of Polish Congresses will receive official distinctions, will take place in Silesia next year. This is a unique event during which Poland can express its gratitude to its representatives for their efforts and dedication in promoting the country as a congress destination.
It’s worth mentioning that the current year is special because it marks the 25th anniversary of the Polish Congress Ambassadors Program. This program has its co-organizers, including the Conference and Congresses in Poland Association (SKKP), the Polish Tourist Organization (POT), and the Poland Convention Bureau (PCB). The long-standing commitment of these institutions has contributed to the program’s success and its development over the years.
Congratulations to all the new Ambassadors of Polish Congresses, and we wish them continued success in promoting Poland as a destination for prestigious congresses and conferences.
