Elsevier has published a database of over 100,000. the most outstanding representatives of world science!
For each of the scientists, standardized information was provided, among other, about:
- citations,
- h index,
- hm index corrected for co-authorship,
- citations of their articles depending on the authorship position.
The indicators are presented separately for the entire period in which the researcher built his career, and for the year, with division into 22 scientific domains and 176 sub-domains. The data covers the period until the end of 2020.
Of course, the base also includes Poles who achive a high position in their specialization.
The leader of Polish scientists in the Dermatology category is the Ambassador of Wrocław Congresses, prof. dr hab. n. med. Jacek Szepietowski from the Medical University of Wrocław, who received the 53 no index, which determined the place in the classification.
The highest ranked scientist from Poland was prof. dr hab. Piotr Ponikowski from the Medical University of Wrocław , who is also the highest-ranked scientist in the Cardiology category.
