Wrocław Contemporary Theatre is located in the very heart of the city, about 300 m form the beautiful Market Square. The venue has left its strong mark on Wrocław’s cultural life with events including Tadeusz Różewicz’s plays (staged here for a long time), and the International Theatre Festival DIALOG-WOCŁAW. The directors who presented their work in the venue at Rzeźnicza St. include Jerzy Jarocki, Kazimierz Braun, Krzysztof Warlikowski, Piotr Cieplak, and Krystyna Meissner. The theatre has at its disposal three auditoria, with the capacity of 220, 100 and 50 seats, with excellent technical facilities. We offer the possibility of hiring the halls at competitive prices, along with professional staff, for conferences, symposiums, anniversaries, concerts, exhibitions, closed performances. There is also an option of ordering a special artistic programme or a performance from the theatre’s current repertory, as well as hosting a performance or concert chosen and organised by the hirer.
The theatre provides:
- professional technical staff: set building, lighting, sound;
- courteous, skilled auditorium attendants (hostesses, ushers, cloakroom staff);
- artistic part of the conference: productions from current season, which will undoubtedly give a unique touch to any event hosted at Teatr Współczesny;
- possibility of organising a banquet or a treat at the theatre lobby: such a treat may be ordered at the theatre cafeteria;
- security service during events organised in the theatre.
