23rd SIMCHA Jewish Culture Festival
In the heart of the Mutual Respect Quarter, a variety of events such as concerts, meetings, film screenings, workshops and a fair take place, attracting people interested in art, knowledge and contact with Jewish tradition. These initiatives are open to dialogue and promote the need for mutual tolerance and respect.
The festival programme consists of evening concerts of Jewish music at the White Stork Synagogue, known as the music block. In addition, there are numerous attractions for participants of all ages, such as workshops, meetings, discussion panels, film screenings, an exhibition, guided walks and a Jewish Fair, which will take place on Sunday, 1 August, in the courtyard of the White Stork Synagogue.
Participants in the festival will have the opportunity to take part in traditional events of Jewish life, such as preparations for Shabbat, an open service to welcome Shabbat and a havdalah ceremony. Simcha is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in Jewish culture, learning about its diverse elements and artistic achievements.
