In 2006, the international business forum dedicated to SMEs took place in Wrocław – the capital of Lower Silesia, one of the wealthiest and most beautiful regions of Poland.
The 11th International Business Development Forum FUTURALLIA 2006 was an international match-making event, that gathered 1,200 leaders of SME (small and medium-sized enterprises) sector from 40 countries, representing various regions of the world.
During the Forum almost 8,000 individual business meetings (face-to-face) took place - all of them arranged according to the preferences and needs of the participants.
FUTURALLIA is a prestigious annual business event initiated by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of la Vienne (CCIV) of Poitiers, France. The Forum has been held since 1990, altering between Poitiers – France (7 editions) and Quebec – Canada (2 editions). In 2005, FUTURALLIA took place for the first time in Wallonie - Belgium.
FUTURALLIA 2006 IN POLAND
For the first time FUTURALLIA was hosted by a region where the official language is other than French and for the first time the Forum took place in East-Central Europe. Locating Futurallia in Wroclaw, on the borders between the Western and Eastern territories of Europe opened new dynamic investment areas and strengthed small and medium enterprises of the leading markets.
Futurallia - Wrocław 2006 has proven to be a unique occasion to discover Poland through the platform of economic cooperation.
INTERNATIONAL NETWORK OF PARTNERS
Enterprises participating in FUTURALLIA are selected by partners from more than 40 countries and regions of the world. Over 80 institutions join in FUTURALLIA each year to promote the Forum in their respective regions. The partners – chambers of commerce and industry, business development
organizations, local authorities - also validate the registrations of the companies from their regions and manage their delegations.
