A new ranking ICCA concerning the meetings market is available. This year Poland again is listed in the Top 20 countries by number of association meetings, organised in 2018.
ICCA (International Congress and Convention Association) composes their rankings every year by basis of collected and analysed data within organisation which counts more than 1100 companies and operates in almost 100 countries. The ranking considers meetings that meet 3 conditions at the same time – they are taking place regularly, gather more than 50 participants which come from 3 or more different countries.
This time Poland has a 19th place with 211 meetings organised in 2018 year. For years, United States hold the first place with up to 1000 meetings, followed then by Germany (642), Spain (595), France (579) and the United Kingdom (574).
The ranking of Polish cities is the following: Warsaw is at 29th place, Kraków – 45, Poznań – 120, Wrocław – 180, Gdańsk – 196 and Łódź at 355. Łódź is for the first time presented in the ranking just after the joining ICCA organisation in February.
We are pleased about stable position of Poland on the global market of meetings industry and looking forward to raising the position in near future.
