WROsound is a summer music festival that transforms the green space in front of Wrocław’s Impart into a true urban jungle every year. On July 19-20, 2024, WROsound will return to ul. Mazowiecka 17, offering participants extraordinary musical experiences on two stages, including one dedicated to local artists under the slogan “This is What Wrocław Sounds Like.”

Urban Jungle – the heart and soul of the festival

The slogan “urban jungle” perfectly captures the festival’s vibe. It’s not just the space where the event takes place, but also the diverse, original musical choices that fill this space. On WROsound’s stages, you can hear good rap, jazz experiments, intriguing trip-hop, refined electronic music, various forms of alternative music, and songwriters with unique messages.

In the past, the festival has featured performances by Michael Kiwanuka, SOHN, Tricky, Katy B, Dub FX, HVOB, Sokół, Zdechły Osa, Brodka, Kamp!, Król, Bluszcz, Syny, Baasch, and Rysy.

Pigeon Man – the Symbol of the Festival

The official mascot of the WROsound festival is Pigeon Man, the king of every urban jungle. His figure appears on the event’s promotional materials and at the festival itself as a crowd animator, adding a unique character to the event.

Eco-Festival

The organizers from Strefa Kultury Wrocław focus on ecological responsibility by implementing the less waste method. They minimize printed materials, repurpose advertising materials through upcycling, offer free tap water, create green scenery or build it from waste, use zero-emission cars, support sustainable transport, reduce plastic use, and plant forests. Additionally, the festival is becoming more accessible with each edition for people with disabilities and special needs.

WROsound 2024 – 15th Anniversary of the Festival

In 2024, the WROsound festival will celebrate its 15th anniversary. Attendees can expect comebacks, premieres, and surprises. There will also be a special performance by an artist celebrating the 15th anniversary of their album.
