Conference communication in the life of a people with disabilities
A city conference on the occasion of the World Day of Persons with Disabilities with the participation of partner cities will be combined with the presentation of Bartłomiej Skrzyński’s Wrocław Without Barriers Certificates and the Medal of Merit for Wrocław 2022.
Already on December 1 and 2, on the occasion of the World Day of Persons with Disabilities at the Olympic Stadium will be held the first edition of the conference on the topic of communication in the life of a person with disabilities, as well as in a series of events called “Wrocław Without Barriers”, which will be broadcast live also to the network. During the event there will be a ceremonial presentation of the Bartłomiej Skrzyński Wrocław Without Barriers Certificates and the Medal of Merit for Wrocław 2022. The plebiscite is implemented by the “Potrafię Pomóc” Foundation and organized on behalf of and in cooperation with the Department of Social Affairs of the City of Wroclaw. The purpose of the plebiscite is to create conditions for universal accessibility, integration in social life and counteracting the exclusion of disabled people, as well as to improve the attractiveness of Wroclaw as a city friendly to all social groups.
Participants at the event will be able to learn practical information about communication and professional activity for people with disabilities, including national and global solutions, especially in the context of municipal support programs and intersectoral cooperation at the local level. Discuss, exchange experience in the field from the consideration of the problems of people with disabilities and their environments. Representatives of Wroclaw’s partner cities have also been invited to participate.
