The aim of the conference is to present to a wide audience the activities of various groups – scientific, non-governmental organizations, local governments, urban planning and civic engagement – working with the subject of difficult heritage.
The organizers prepared discussion panels about difficult heritage, field work and commemorations. The program of the talks will cover challenges, successes, cooperation and visions for the future. In addition, the program also includes lectures on people and places related to the history of Jewish Breslauers, including the historian Willy Cohn, architects from the Hadda family and the Jewish Museum. Participants will be able to see an artistic project related to the theme of the event in the urban space of Wrocław, and walks with guides will be organized on the weekend before the conference.
