“Disinformation as a Civilizational Challenge and a Threat to Security: Past, Present, Future”
On November 14, 2025, the Wrocław University of Applied Sciences will host a conference dedicated to the phenomenon of disinformation – one of the key challenges and threats to the security of modern societies and democratic systems.
The event will feature three main thematic panels:
-
historical aspects of disinformation,
-
contemporary threats to societies and institutions,
-
technological and strategic dimensions of countering disinformation.
The conference will bring together experts from Poland, the United States, and Central and Eastern Europe. It will be held in a hybrid format, allowing both on-site and online participation.
The aim of the event is to promote academic dialogue and deepen understanding of the mechanisms of disinformation, as well as to explore practical methods of building resilience in the face of information warfare and manipulation.
