Wrocław University of Science and Technology, together with the Łukasiewicz Research Network, invites participants to the 8th International Workshop on Ultra-Wide Bandgap Materials and Devices (IWUMD 2025), to be held on 21–24 September 2025 at the D-20 Congress Center of Wrocław University of Science and Technology.

The event will provide a unique platform bringing together academic and industrial communities. The programme will feature keynote lectures, thematic symposia, invited and oral presentations, interactive poster sessions, and an industrial exhibition. Topics include, among others: material synthesis (III-nitrides, SiC, Ga₂O₃, diamond), characterization techniques, optical properties, optoelectronic devices, UV detection, as well as modelling aspects and practical applications.

Participation is available upon registration and fee payment. Two registration categories are offered: Early Bird (until the end of July) and Standard (August–September), with reduced rates for students. Registration covers full access to the workshop, conference materials, lunches, coffee breaks, and the networking event on 23 September in the evening. Cancellations made before the end of July are refundable minus an administrative fee; later cancellations can only be transferred to a substitute participant.
