The 25th BNP Paribas New Horizons International Film Festival is one of the most important film events in Poland, attracting lovers of auteur cinema from around the world to Wrocław. This year’s edition will feature 270 films, including 129 Polish premieres. The program will showcase bold debuts, works by acclaimed masters and emerging voices, as well as the most talked-about titles from international festivals. The official opening gala will include a screening of “The Secret Agent” directed by Kleber Mendonça Filho.

Screenings will take place across several venues in the city, including the New Horizons Cinema, the Lower Silesian Film Centre, and Kino Warszawa, as well as in selected open-air locations throughout Wrocław. After the in-person edition, a selection of films will also be available online, extending access to an even wider audience.

As every year, the festival will be a space for meetings, discussions, workshops, and inspiration, offering a rich program of accompanying events — from industry debates to concerts and Q&A sessions with filmmakers. It’s a must-attend for viewers seeking fresh cinematic perspectives, artistic challenges, and emotional depth.
