Lower Silesia. MICE Connect & Learn – a Series of Networking Meetings and Training Sessions for the MICE Industry

The meetings, conferences, and events industry is built primarily on relationships. That is why spaces for building connections, exchanging experiences, and gaining practical knowledge are so important. This need inspired the creation of the “Lower Silesia. MICE Connect & Learn” series — an initiative dedicated to representatives of the Lower Silesian MICE industry, combining networking, education, and regional promotion. The event format responds to the current needs of the market and focuses on what matters most in the industry: cooperation, professional development, and strengthening the local MICE community.

4 Industry Meetings and 4 Training Sessions Throughout the Year

The “Lower Silesia. MICE Connect & Learn” series includes:

• 4 industry networking meetings with presentations,
• 4 training sessions led by experts and practitioners for the Lower Silesian MICE industry.

Combining networking with educational content allows participants to develop business relationships while gaining knowledge and practical tools useful in their everyday work.

A Space for Conversations, Cooperation, and Discovering the Region

The meetings organized as part of the series provide an opportunity to discuss the challenges, trends, and needs of the MICE industry. Participants have the opportunity to:

• exchange experiences and best practices,
• establish new business relationships,
• discover venues and services from across the region,
• develop competencies during workshops and training sessions,
• jointly build the brand of Lower Silesia as a MICE destination.

Each event takes place in a different part of Lower Silesia, allowing participants to better explore the region’s potential as well as local conference and event venues. The program of every meeting includes a site inspection and a venue presentation prepared by the event host.

The First Meeting in Szklarska Poręba

This year’s edition of the series was inaugurated in Szklarska Poręba. The first meeting gathered a large number of representatives of the Lower Silesian MICE industry, who took part in networking sessions, market discussions, and professional development workshops.

The educational part was led by Micz Zalewski, who conducted workshops focused on personal branding. Participants gained practical tips on communication, image-building, and strengthening their professional position.

The event was hosted by Platinum Mountain Hotel & SPA, to whom we extend our thanks for their hospitality.

Together We Are Developing the MICE Industry in Lower Silesia

The aim of the “Lower Silesia. MICE Connect & Learn” project is to integrate the Lower Silesian MICE community, develop industry competencies, and promote the regional offer for event organizers.

Regular meetings and training sessions are designed to support cooperation among industry representatives, improve service quality, and strengthen Lower Silesia’s position as an attractive destination for the meetings and events market.

This Is Only the Beginning

The first event confirmed the great value of initiatives that combine networking, education, and the exchange of experiences.
