Participation in the New Trends in Tourism 2025 Conference in Gdańsk

On Thursday, 20 March 2025, the workshop “Regenerating Polish Destinations: Sustainable Tourism in Action” took place in Gdańsk. The event was organised by the Gdansk Convention Bureau in collaboration with the Poland Convention Bureau, operating within the structures of the Polish Tourism Organisation.
The workshop brought together representatives of Polish convention bureaus, regional and local tourism organisations, as well as stakeholders from the MICE sector. Its aim was to deepen knowledge, exchange experiences, and develop joint strategies for sustainable tourism in Poland.
The sessions were led by two experts from the Global Destination Sustainability Movement – Jannie Neumann and Marta Mills. Participants worked on ideas and proposals for 2025 that can help strengthen the position of Polish cities as leaders in sustainable tourism on the international stage.
The event took place in the unique post-industrial space of 100cznia, located on the site of the former Gdańsk Shipyard – a setting that fostered creative discussions and the exchange of knowledge.
