Update of the “Green Document”
2025-01-28A few days ago, we had the pleasure of participating in a remarkable event held at the Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw. The event marked the presentation of recommendations by the Polish Tourism Organisation – Poland Convention Bureau for 2025-2026, awarded to Professional Congress Organisers, Professional Incentive Travel Organisers, and Convention Bureaux.
We are proud to announce that our bureau was among the recipients and received a POT recommendation! This is a significant honor that motivates us to continue working on the development of the MICE industry and promoting Wrocław as a prime meeting destination.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Argentum Event Agency and Work Group Events for receiving recommendations – a tremendous achievement we celebrated together during this special gathering. We congratulate all honorees for their accomplishments and contributions to the development of the meetings industry in Poland.
Inspiration from the “Creators’ Lab”
The second part of the event featured the “Creators’ Lab” – a session dedicated to the exchange of experiences, creative ideas, and innovative solutions in the MICE industry. It was an incredibly inspiring meeting, during which we listened to presentations by special guests from IMEX Group – Suzanne Medcalf Mulligan and Sophie Pink. They shared their expertise and experience in building engagement and the role of social media in event promotion.
One of the highlights of the program was a presentation by Jarosław Marciuk, who discussed the importance of tailoring promotional content to the specifics and aesthetics of Instagram in the context of MICE event promotion. Additionally, Mariusz Kosowski presented the project “Capturing Emotions,” which received international recognition as an excellent example of creativity and innovation in action.
Modern Technologies in Practice
The second part of the “Creators’ Lab” was equally inspiring – participants had the opportunity to explore the exhibitions at the Copernicus Science Centre and attend an interactive session with the robot AMECA, which impressed everyone with its advanced interaction capabilities. This unique experience demonstrated how modern technologies can support creativity and innovation in the industry.
Summary
The event at the Copernicus Science Centre was not only an opportunity to honor industry professionals but also a chance for inspiring exchanges of knowledge and experiences. We extend our thanks to the Polish Tourism Organisation and all organizers for creating a space conducive to the growth of the MICE industry in Poland. Wrocław, as “The MICE Place,” proudly joins the ranks of recommended entities and looks forward to future challenges with enthusiasm.
