Ceremonial opening and inspiring presentations
The meeting began with participant registration and networking, allowing for initial conversations and relationship-building. The official opening was conducted by Katarzyna Krawcewicz, President of Convention Bureau-Wrocław, alongside Karol Przywara, President of Wrocław Airport, named after Nicolaus Copernicus. In their speeches, they emphasized the importance of cross-industry collaboration for regional development and the growing role of Wrocław on the business tourism map.
Expert presentations
The first presentation was delivered by Tomasz Lenart, Operations Director of the Terminal, who introduced the activities of Wrocław Airport. Participants had the chance to learn about recent investments, development plans, and the airport’s significance for the Lower Silesian region.
Next, the stage was taken by experts from Booking.com – Justyna Krzystańska and Agnieszka Chwała. Their presentation discussed the latest trends in the local market, highlighting the changing preferences of travelers and new opportunities for the hotel industry.
Magdalena Frelkiewicz from Qualpro then presented a detailed analysis of supply and demand in Wrocław’s hotel market following the summer season. Her data and insights provided valuable information for all attendees, indicating directions worth pursuing in the near future.
Future discussions and airport tour
After the coffee break, which provided a great opportunity for further networking, a discussion panel took place. The conversation featured Aneta Książek from the Poland Convention Bureau, Agnieszka Szymerowska from the Association of Conferences and Congresses in Poland and Wiktoria Król-Cieciorowska. The discussion focused on the future of business tourism in the region, the challenges facing the industry, and potential solutions.
The event culminated in a unique opportunity to tour Wrocław Airport, named after Nicolaus Copernicus. Participants were able to explore areas typically off-limits to visitors, which was met with great interest and enthusiasm.
