Meeting of City and Regional Convention Bureaux

On Tuesday, we had the opportunity to participate in a meeting at NYX Hotel Warsaw by Leonardo Hotels organised by the Poland Convention Bureau POT with city and regional convention bureaux, which was officially opened by Marcin Różycki – Vice President of the POT. Aneta Książek – Manager of the PCB Meetings and Events Bureau of the POT presented the planned activities of the Poland Convention Bureau for 2023, together with Magda Mazgaj and Jarosław Marciuk.

In the second part, the inspiration session began, where the special guest was Natasha de Caiado Castro – President of Wish International, author of the book ‘Marketing Experience’, board member of the San Freancisco Travel Association and member of the United Nations SV Women Committee and IMEX ambassador for hosted buyers, who touched upon the topic of experience as a marketing tool. Then, during the session entitled The Creators’ Lab, Dagmara Plata-Alf together with Jarosław Marciuk showed Trends and challenges in e-marketing communication in the meetings industry.

The meeting was finalised with the awarding of diplomas for Convention Bureaux and Professional Meeting and Event Organisers (PCOs and ITCs) for the years 2023-2024, where Convention Bureau-Wrocław officially received recommendations from PCB PTO.
