The second half of 2022 is not at all less intense than the first part of the year. Members of the local Congress Ambassadors Club of Wrocław were active both in terms of organizing conferences and congresses, participating in the scientific committees of important events or actively working at universities where they teach various classes for students.
On December 8-10, 2022, Prof. Jacek Szepietowski, M.D., representing the Medical University of Wrocław, was chairman of the Scientific Committee of the 10th Anniversary Conference Controversies in Dermatology, which was held in Wrocław in one of the newest local hotels – Q Plus Wrocław Bielany.
Prof. Dr. Agnieszka Kita of the University of Life Sciences was a member of the Local Organizing Committee of the 5th International Nordic Baltic Drying Conference, organized by the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław, and held in September, between 7 and 9. The main purpose of the event is to prepare a platform for the exchange of knowledge related to the topic of drying and dehydration between all institutions involved in the subject.
Dr. Piotr Sula was involved in the implementation of the Summer School on Democracy – Civic Engagement in the Contemporary World organized by the University of Wrocław, and held in September 2022. The main theme of the event was civic engagement in the contemporary world.
Prof. Marta Misiuk-Hojło, MD, from the University of Wrocław Medical School, organized the 12th edition of the OCCULISTICS-CONTRIBUTIONS 2022 Conference, October 13-15, which brought together more than 650 participants, as well as more than 40 exhibiting companies. The event was realized in 2 Wrocław venues: Mercure Hotel and Wrocław Congress Center.
Prof. Dr. Bogusława Dobek-Ostrowska and new club member Dr. Patrycja Matusz, Prof. UWr were members of the Program Council of the 5th National Political Science Congress, while Dr. Piotr Sula was a member of the Organizing Committee of the event. The Congress was realized on September 21-23, 2022.
