What do Tarczyński Arena Wrocław, Morskie Oko, the market hall in Poznań, the European Solidarity Center in Gdańsk or the Art Gallery in the Silesian Museum in Katowice have in common?
Disabled influencers invited by the Polish Tourism Organization know the answer to this question: Magda Orłoś – author of the culinary blog „Gotowanie w ciemno”; Katarzyna Szymura − educator, teacher and promoter of Polish Sign Language; Sylwester Wilk − Coach, Polish Champion U16 600m, bronze medalist of the European Championships; Michał Fitas − President of the National Federation of Disabled Fans, collaborator of the Polish Football Association; Łukasz Haćman – lawyer, sports enthusiast, traveler, author of the blog “niePEŁNOSprawNY tourist”, who took part in a joint spot promoting some of the tourist attractions fully accessible to people with disabilities.
Your place is exactly where you want it to be – Poland without barriers. Explore new places.
According to research commissioned by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism in 2019, it appears that the main barrier to traveling for people with disabilities is not only organizational difficulties, but also the fear of traveling itself, lack of social acceptance and lack of travel agency offers tailored to their needs.
– Poland is waiting with open arms for people with disabilities and is changing with their needs in mind. Through the campaign, we want to awaken their passion for traveling and, above all, encourage them to visit various corners of Poland, from the sea through beautiful cities to the mountains – emphasizes Rafał Szmytke, President of the Polish Tourism Organization.
The Polish Tourism Organization will be present with the “Poland without barriers” campaign in social media, on its own channels of influencers invited to cooperate, and in digital.
The campaign was launched on November 15, 2022. The promotional video can be viewed below:
