The loosening of covidien restrictions has become a reality. The new regulations came into force from Monday, February 28 significantly easing the existing restrictions related to the pandemic. Thus, the regulation of May 6, 2021 has lost its previous force.
Based on the regulation published by the government, the new sanitary regulations are valid until March 31 of this year. As announced, the said regulation has lifted almost all restrictions, with a few exceptions.
What has changed? Among other things, all limits on people have ceased to apply – including those introduced in stores, shopping malls, hotels, restaurants, places of culture, transport, as well as during the organization of meetings and events.
In addition, discos, clubs and all places made available for dancing have been opened.
Equally important is the provision exempting from the need for quarantine for persons crossing the border into Ukraine in connection with an armed conflict on its territory. Such persons also do not have to show a negative test result for SARS-CoV-2.
As we read in the regulation – “Until 31 March 2022, the movement of passengers in rail transport performed with the crossing of the border section of the Republic of Poland with the Republic of Belarus is also suspended”.
The requirement to wear a mask in confined spaces remains with us, isolation for those infected with coronavirus and quarantine for cohabitants and entry quarantine (for those without a valid UCC) also remain.
The steps taken are directly related to the progressive decline in infections and fewer hospitalizations.
