The IBTM World Virtual

We had the pleasure to participate in the IBTM World Virtual exhibition, which took place on December 8-10, 2020. Due to the fact that it was not possible to conduct the event on-site, we have participated in on-line meetings. Since 1988, IBTM World has been one of the most important exhibition events in the meetings industry, both in terms of the number of buyers and the effectiveness of trade talks. Each year, the fair gathers over 4,000 professionals from around the world who deal with the organization, decision-making, and budgeting of meetings and events. The organizers provided individual on-line meetings between exhibitors and hosted buyers – representatives of associations, organizations and corporations. Convention Bureau-Wrocław held meetings during the event and had the opportunity to establish new contacts with potential contractors from India to Toronto. We consider these meetings successful while we have exchanged contacts with all the potential hosted buyers and we have already agreed on the next steps to maintain the established business relations. We have also managed to take advantage of the fair in its substantive part. We would like especially to thank the Polish Tourism Organization for including us in the group of representatives of our country.

Participation in the fair took place as part of the project entitled “DEVELOPMENT OF BUSINESS TOURISM AND STRENGTHENING THE CONFERENCE AND CONGRESS POTENTIAL OF WROCLAW AS A LOCAL TOURIST PRODUCT IN 2019-2021”, financed by the Municipality of Wrocław.
