On 3-4 October 2017 the DiverCITY3 – Festival of Cities Conference will take place for the third time in Wrocław. The event is organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of Poland, the City of Wrocław, and the Norwegian Association of Local and Regional Authorities (KS).
The main topic of this year’s conference is the “Idea for the City”. On the first day Polish and foreign speakers will deliver short presentations regarding good practices and solutions within four thematic sessions: City of the Inhabitants, Friendly City Space, Mobility in the City, and Green City. In the evening, foreign experts in urban policy and urban development will share their experience with the audience.
On 4 October 2017 the participants of the event will be able to take part in study tours, whose topic is connected with the topic of the conference. The programme of the conference “DiverCITY3 – Festival of Cities” and the registration form are available at www.divercity3.pl
The Organizers expect about 300 participants. The venue for the first day of the Conference is the Wrocław Congress Centre within the Centennial Hall Complex.
The DiverCITY3 Project is the effect of cooperation with Norwegian partners within the PL06 Programme of Urban Development by Strengthening the Competence of Self-Government Units, Social Dialogue and Cooperation with Civil Society Representatives, supported by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA Grants.
