Poland is moving up in the global ICCA Statistics Report 2016

The International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) published the global ICCA Statistics Report 2016. The Association creates its statistics on basis of collected data of associations meetings, which are held cyclically, gather at least 50 participants and migrate between at least three countries. International Congress and Convention Association since 1963 r. combines the tourism industry with the growing international market. With 195 meetings Poland was ranked 17th, moving up four spots from 2015.

The leader among the countries in 2016 were once again the United States of America, while the city no. 1 was Paris, replacing Berlin at this position.

When it comes to cities ranked in Poland, the list is as follows: Warsaw placed 30th, climbing 10 spots from 2015 (71 meetings), Kraków placed 65th, Wrocław leaped 41 spots to the 98th position, while Gdańsk and Poznań were ranked 152nd and 186th.
