At the end of August 2017 AC Hotel by Marriott was opened at Freedom Square 10. It is the first hotel of AC brand in Wrocław, as well as in Poland. The hotel was placed in a historic tenement from 1875, where the Central Bank of Germany (Reichsbank) was located before the war.
At guests’ disposal 91 rooms were commissioned, from 20 to 40 square meters big. Rooms have additional facilities – including a coffeemaker or an iron. All rooms are air–conditioned. Rooms with terraces with a city-view are also included in the offer.
The AC Hotel is equipped with 4 meeting rooms (one for 75 participants, one for 30 participants, and two smaller for 10 people), a restaurant, a winery, a swimming pool, a fitness zone, a sauna, a jacuzzi, a gym, a massage parlor and the AC Lounge – hall with a bar, a restaurant, and a resting area for guests. Parking spaces for guests are available ate the nearby underground parking lot of the National Forum of Music.
The AC Hotel by Marriott Wroclaw has been not the only hotel investment in recent times. The hotel sector is one of the fastest growing industries in Wroclaw, therefore during the next few years other hotels will be commissioned.
One of the hotels will be opened in the next few months: Active Hotel (a part of the WKK sports complex in Czajcza Street with 3three–star standard) and some hotel facilities are under construction.
At an intersection of Gwarna Street and Piłsudskiego Street, a four–star Best Western Premier City Centre is built, with 64 rooms for guests. At Strzegomski Square, a construction of Condo Hotel has started – it will have four–stars, 128 hotel rooms and 13 suites. Next, at the Cathedral Square, a five–star MGallery by Sofitel (with 192 rooms) will be located. In a 16th–century tenement at the Nankiera Square works on the four–star boutique hotel have begun – it will have 40 rooms.
Within a few years Wrocław will enrich with some facilities with high standards. Furthermore, hotel industry is developing fast enough that for the next years spatial development plan of a town allows to plan further new hotel investments, for example in Włodkowica Street, Legnicka Street and Kasprowicza Avenue.
